This venue consists of an ancient villa and a farm and it lies in the countryside, halfway of the slope that separates the Upper Valdarno from Chianti. This important and ancient residence (dated 13th century)risked to be ruined when the farmers abandoned the countryside. It was only thanks to a wise and loving restoration, led for many years by today’s owners, that now the residence returns to life, in an atmosphere full of history, regained and reinserted in the beauty of the Tuscan landscapes. Today, the Villa offers its guests an unforgettable and peaceful stay, immersed in the nature and in touch with the traditions of the Tuscan countryside, its typical dishes, people and vivid culture.
The restaurant is situated in the old halls of the castle, with surprising cross vaults. Here, our guests can taste the specialities of the Tuscan typical cuisine, with its rich and refined tradition. The sophisticated rooms and dishes make this venue the ideal place for discrete and romantic ceremonies or for really special events in a suggestive historical residence.
The villa provides excellent apartments and rooms, with well-kept common spaces and gardens. Each flat has been recently restored, using the recovered old materials. They are equipped with kitchen and telephone.
